Courtney and Brandon held their wedding ceremony at a secluded property surrounded by their closest friends and family, followed by a beautiful reception at The Beach Club San Simon venue in Roatan, Honduras. Although their destination wedding took place on one of the dreamiest Caribbean Islands, they desired a day that wasn’t necessarily “beach-themed”.
It all started with a “Save the Date” card design that offered glimpses of the big day without giving too much away. Courtney desired an invitation suite that was elegant and delicate, but not overly simple. We designed one that was rich in detail, yet measured. Their plan was to treat their guests to a stunning view of the Caribbean Sea during the ceremony, and our plan was to wow their guests with the same view, on paper. We created a luxury wedding invitation suite with the most intricate foil-stamped details, delicate cotton papers, and beautiful letterpress printing blended seamlessly with watercolor details. A custom map of the west end of the island was painted to showcase the turquoise waters of Roatan and to visually highlight the locations of the ceremony and reception in a fun way.
From the watercolor florals on their envelope liners to the gold calligraphy and wax seals, each detail from the invitation suite was carefully woven into their wedding design. Our design was used throughout as decor in signage pieces and bar details. Coordinating floral installations decorated the tables, and their wedding monogram was featured on the dance floor. It was a reception flooded with thoughtful details and beauty to celebrate the happy couple.
